Gertrude K. Elliott, 98 of Blanchester passed away on Friday January 23, 2015 at the Continental Manor Blanchester. She was born January 4, 1917 to Cecil and Mary Seldonbridge Phillips. She was member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Xenia, OH, active with the Women's Prayer Club and loved her flowers. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Raymond) McDonald; grandchildren, Mike and Johnny McDonald, Sandy Tissandier, Kevin and David Elliott and Loretta Church; great grandchildren, Heather Brooks, Dareyl Elliott, Macey, Kiah, Addi, Sean and Kaylan Tissandier, Alec, Ryan, Sean, Matt and Lauren McDonald and Brian Elliott. Great great grandchildren, Aiden McDonald, Adara, Hunter and Ruben Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Wilbur Elliott; sons, Wilbur Gene Elliott and Joe Elliott; a grandson, Dennis Elliott; great granddaughter Linda Elliott; 4 sisters; and 3 brothers. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11 AM at the Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 North Valley Road, Xenia, OH 45385.
