Gerald L. Gillis of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 87. He is survived by his children, Thomas (Jammie) Gillis and Patty Poe; grandchildren, Peter, Jessica, Brandon, Patty Ann, Amanda, Jami, and Joshua; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Gillis. Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Amy R. Gillis; daughter, Connie S. Hampton; parents, Randall and Miriam (Kerns) Gillis. Friends will be received from 12-1pm on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio. Interment will follow at Second Creek Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
