Gerald Allen Cefalu, age 80, passed away peacefully at home on January 21, 2024. He was born on February 3, 1943, in Cincinnati to Albert John and Ethel Anna Cefalu (Wilke).

He successfully started and ran his small business, Cefalu and Son Autobody and Frame for 20 years, which he retired from in 2006. Gerald truly enjoyed life as a skilled and creative woodworker and gardener. His home of 52 years in Goshen was his pride and he was always making it more beautiful through endless projects. Gerald was friendly, well known in the community and never missed an opportunity to engage in conversation.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Donna Sue Cefalu (Hunter) and his sister Phyllis Cefalu (Reeder).

He is survived by his second wife of 25 years, Marcia Ann Cefalu (Wamsley); son Jeffrey Allen Cefalu; daughter Jennifer Lynn Cefalu (Hall); daughter-in-law Jennifer Lynn Cefalu (Horn); granddaughters Donna Sue Brown (Hall), Emily Faith Hall, Lakyn Ann Cefalu; Grandson Brady Allen Cefalu; grandson-in-law Garrett Brown and many other family members and friends.

All those whose lives Gerald touched are invited to the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Ohio. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Thursday, January 25. Services will be held at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Grandson-in-law, Garrett Brown will be officiating.

Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
