George Wade of Loveland.

George passed peacefully in his home on Dec 3rd. George grew up in Bond Hill and attended St Agnes grade school and Purcell High School in Cincinnati. George loved sports and music. He worked as a caddy and delivered newspapers as a child to buy new records and baseball cards. He played baseball at Purcell and went on to coach his daughters in the sport he loved. He worked at Roadway for many years. He played golf and enjoyed meeting up with friends for lunch. He was a devoted father and husband. He could be seen on the sidelines of sporting events of his 11 grandchildren.

Beloved husband of the late Kathy Rizzo Wade. Loving father of Lisa (Rich) Beckman, Lori (Patrick) Baker, Julie (David) Walulik, and Gina (Nick) McDonald. Cherished grandfather of Andy, Chris, Matt, Jake, Ellie, Ben, Madeline, Jane, Nathan, Will, and Maria. Loving son of the late George and Virginia Wade. Dear brother of the late Barb Zaffiro and the late Shirley Wade. Passed away December 3, 2023 at the age of 81.

Family and friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 12 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 13 at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Road, Loveland, OH 45140. Interment Gate of Heaven.
