Passed away peacefully Saturday, July 5, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved father of Lisa Hannah and Scott (Sara) Kopittke. Loving step-father of Julie Johnson, Dionna (Chris) Benick, Cassandra Tucker, and Dale (Rachael) Crider. Proud grandfather of Jacob and Riley Hannah, Haiden and Paige Kopittke, Joseph (Chelsea) and Jared Johnson, Steven Young, Matthew Benick, Chelsey Conner, Michaela and Brianna Tucker, Mitchell Felts, and Easton Crider. Cherished great grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Greg (Linda) Kopittke. He was a devout Presbyterian who lived his faith, loved his family, and was always willing to help anyone in need. George and Brenda enjoyed going to the beach and were avid Cincinnati Reds fans. George was a storybook grandpa who loved being a great role model, friend and playmate to his grandchildren.
