George L. Vance, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away on September 15, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Born May 2, 1948 in Mariemont, Ohio, son of Arthur and Martha Vance. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was a dedicated employee of the Ford Motor Company where he retired after 35 years. George was a hot rod enthusiast and looked forward to Tuesdays with his hot rod buddies.  He was the beloved husband of 49 years to Debbie "Bird" Vance; loving father of Lisa Vance; proud grandfather of Dana Thompson, Nevaeh Woods, Denver Woods, Colten Allen, and Laeah Ruel; great-grandfather of Adelyn and Aniston; dear brother of Barbara and Bonnie; stepbrother of Bonita. George was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Martha Vance; a brother, Arthur, Jr. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. Pastor Joe Childress will officiate the service. Interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio, with Military Honors.
