Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on March 19, 1925, George was the son of James V. and Emma F. (nee Blaw) McDonald. George is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Patsieann Grace (nee Misiti) McDonald, brothers-in-law Anthony John Misiti, Jr., John Monte Misiti, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Joe McDonald, and brothers James V. and John L. McDonald George was a graduate of Stamford High School in Stamford, CT. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 97th Signal Battalion as a communication linesman. He was employed by Condé Nast Publications in New York City for 44 years.
