George Wilber Carter, 68, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on December 23, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Born July 13, 1956, in Wilmington, Ohio, son of Wilbur and Glendora (Bowman) Carter. George worked at Nelson Star Company and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers- Local 18.

He was the beloved husband of 39 years to Toni Tigar-Carter; loving father of George Carter; proud grandfather of Quinton Carter; dear brother of Linda Strunk and Sanra Kennedy.

George was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Harlan Township Fire Department, 9120 Morrow Rossburg Rd, Pleasant Plain, OH 45162.
