Geneva Louise (nee Meadows) Pennington of Loveland, OH, went home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2024, at the age of 96. Geneva was born on May 10, 1928, to Roscoe Meadows and Maude Taylor.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Howell) Hackler; son, Roger Pennington; four grandchildren, Tammy (Bill) Hughes, Darin Woods, Julie (Jason) Burgher and Claire (Bobby) Kehm; six great-grandchildren, Kayla (Taylor) Banks, Brent (Hannah) Estep, Logan (Danielle) Woods, Courtney Woods, Caleb Burgher, Nathan Burgher, Alaina Kehm and Owen Kehm; four great-great-grandchildren, Khloe Herring, Max Herring, Callie Woods and Kensey Woods; one sister and three brothers; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Geneva is preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Paul Pennington, her parents, Roscoe Meadows and Maude (nee Taylor) White, one sister and seven brothers.

Geneva was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed country gospel music, fishing, jigsaw puzzles, quilting and gardening.

Friends will be received from 6 PM to 8 PM on Friday, July 26 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 10 AM on Saturday, July 27. Pastor Phil Hopper officiating.

Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
