Gene Massey of Loveland, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2022 at the age of 82. Born on April 5, 1939 in Sassafras, KY. Beloved husband of 61 years to Violet Marie (nee Nunemaker) Massey. Loving father of Alan Massey and Gina (Michael) Sedillo. Proud grandfather of David (Leesha) Rishforth, Benjamin Mills and Ally Renee Massey. Dear brother of the late Glen Massey. Cherished son of the late Rudolph and Olzie (nee Bowling) Massey. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and many relatives and dear friends. Gene retired after 40 years of service at Pepsi Cola Bottling Company. He loved gardening, fishing, hunting and the Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed spending valuable time with his family and adored his grandchildren, and was known as Pappy. Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Monday, January 31 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery, Miami TWP, OH. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Gene Massey to the Goshen Church of God, 1675 Hill Station Rd., Goshen, OH 45122. Rev.
