Gary Slowik, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the age of 68. A native of Mason, Ohio, Gary was raised on his family's farm and watched Kings Island being built from their backyard as a young boy. Gary graduated from Cincinnati Country Day School and went on to receive his bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Gary worked in the insurance industry for more than thirty years before engaging in a variety of opportunities after retiring including logistics and home remodeling.

His love of automobiles was a joy he shared with his father, Ed, along with a love of music, which both began at a young age. Friends and family will remember both a wide variety of cars and the entertaining sounds of music as Gary would play the guitar while his brothers and father joined along in his younger years. Gary, Vicki and their children also spent many years at Lake Cumberland, with their boat being a second home for those summers. Memories of the good times are shared by those who were surrounded by the larger than life presence which Gary commanded.

Gary leaves behind a loving and faithful wife, Vicki (nee Query), with whom he would have celebrated forty years of marriage this summer. He is survived by his children, Nic Slowik (Spring Slowik) and Emilee Slowik Cunningham (Wes Cunningham) as well as grandchildren Riggs, Sage, Kipley, Corey, Eddie and the late Brody, his brother Don (Linda Siefkas) Slowik and brother-in-law Dave Query. He is predeceased by his parents Helen and Ed Slowik and his brother Alan.

A celebration of Gary's life will be held at a later date and the family wishes to thank you for your condolences.
