Gary W. Roberts of Newtonsville, OH. Passed away on June 21, 2021 at the age of 67. Born on September 4, 1953 in Cincinnati, OH to Charles and Stella Roberts. Gary graduated in 1971 from Goshen High School where he played football, basketball and baseball. Gary worked at various jobs and found his true passion as a business owner. In 1981 he met the love of his life, Robin Piersall. They married in 1984 and raised three children. Gary loved softball, bowling, coaching, golf and UK Basketball. Gary had a unique gift with having a connection with every person he met. Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Robin Diane (nee Piersall) Roberts; daughter, Katie (Dennis) Mayes; three sons, Sean (Carrie) Rash, Jamie (Louann) Rash and Rob (Shannon) Rash; 11 grandkids, Will Mayes, Sam Mayes, Hayley Wilkins, Nate Wilkins, Taylor Wilkins, Alec Rash, Caitlin Rash, Victoria Rash, Jaxon Rash, Mikayla Rash and Maddox Rash; three great-grandkids, Noah Wilkins, Bentley Wilkins and Eli Rash; three brothers, Ron (Jenny) Roberts, Tom (Debbie) Roberts and Larry (Darlene) Roberts; sister, Terry (Butch) Jarvis; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Gary is preceded in death his parents, Charles and Stella Mae (nee Perrin) Roberts. Friends will be received from 11 AM - 1 PM on Friday, June 25 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 1 PM. Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH. Pallbearers for Gary are: Rob Rash, Jamie Rash, Sean Rash, Nate Wilkins, Alec Rash, Mike Brady and Nick Brady.
