Gary L. Highlander was born February 14, 1952 to Ralph and Anna (nee Dinkins) Highlander and passed away March 21, 2019 at the age of 67. He was a US Army Veteran, enjoyed watching car shows, loved his family and his dogs. He is survived by his wife Vicki (nee Stewart) Highlander; children, Amy Smith and Jason (Tasha) Highlander; grandchildren, Devin, Seth, Dylan, Megan and Bryce; a great grandson, Elliot; sisters, Patty Buchanan and Rhonda Haygood. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Highlander. Memorial services will be held at 8 PM on Thursday March 28, 2019 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where friends will be received from 6 PM until time of service. Family suggests memorial contributions be directed to any Veteran's Organization.
