Gary L. Epperhart Sr., of Fairborn, OH, and formerly of Loveland, OH, passed away August 19, 2024, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Alice Epperhart. Proud father of Gary L. (Mary Jane) Epperhart Jr. and Timothy (Shelley Jo) Epperhart. Devoted grandfather of Alexa, Toby, Sarah, Dennis, and Chris. Cherished great grandfather of Andrea, Riley, Ben, Jessie, and Wesley. Loving step-grandfather of Leighanne (Bill), Erin (Wes), Alissa (Kevin), and Sharie (Nathan). Caring step-great grandfather of Kaelan, Finnegan, Jude, and Fitz.

Gary was born and raised in Corbin, KY. He later moved to Loveland, where he raised his family. After retirement, Gary moved to Florida before returning to Ohio when he moved to Fairborn.

Gary had a deep love for the outdoors. He taught his sons, Tim and Gary, how to hunt and fish. He was also an avid golfer. Gary was a member of the Loveland Masonic Lodge, Emery Lodge #258. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite.

Family and friends will be received from 11 AM until the hour of service at 12 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Avenue, Loveland, OH. Interment Union Cemetery, Symmes Township.
