Gary E. Conover, 72, of Martinsville, lost his battle with bone cancer on November 9, 2015. He was born August 24, 1943 to the late Max E. and Jeanne (nee West) Conover. He graduated from Martinsville High School, where he played four years of basketball and was the President of his senior class. He married his high school sweetheart, Linda Stanforth in 1962. They have two sons CW04 Leslie E. Conover (USMC Ret) (Teresa) and Sgt First Class Mark Conover (US Army) (Jenni). He has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Gary worked for Suburban Propane for 31 years, managing their different plant offices. After his retirement he became and over the road driver for BST out of London, Ohio for 15 years. He then drove a grain truck for Armstrong Trucking until his diagnosis. He was preceded in death by his parents; In-laws, Robert and Betty Stanforth. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 12pm at Bible Baptist Church, 55 Megan Dr. Wilmington, Ohio 45177, where friends will be received from 10:30am until time of service.
