Garnet Scales of Blanchester, OH. Loving husband of the late Essie May (nee Bowmer) Scales; Dear father of Garnet "Steve" (Rebecca) Scales, Larry D. (Nancy) Scales and Chris L. (Connie Trilling) Scales and the late Stanley E. Sharp and Gary D. Scales; proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; beloved brother of Varene Wheat and Gerldine Toufart and 10 other deceased brothers and sisters. Garnet was a US Army Korean War Veteran and retired from Jefferson Smurfitt after 44 years of service. Services will be held at 1 PM on Friday December 15, 2017 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28 Goshen, OH 45122, where friends will be received from 11 AM until time of service.
