Gale June Dawson Dixon, 73, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2023. Gale was born on June 14, 1949, in Lawrence County, Kentucky, and was a graduate of Lawrence County High School and Mayo Vocational and Technical College in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was a stay-at-home mom and was active with her children and grandchildren's school and extracurricular activities, often serving as homeroom mother, on the PTA, as a Campfire Girls leader, and band mom. Her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and friends. She enjoyed taking care of others and was beloved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Gale is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth Dixon, her daughters: Melissa Dixon of Loveland, Ohio, and Mechelle Dixon Gopinathan of Mason, Ohio; two grandchildren: Lillian and Logan Gopinathan, both of Mason, Ohio; her spoiled rotten dog, Buddy, a grand-dog, Maverick, and two grand-cats, Beau and Max; her sister, Lucille Young of Louisa, Kentucky, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Mae Kelly Frazier, her brother, Buck Workman, and three sisters: Bessie Lee Moore, Joann Hall, and Phyllis Hughes.

Gale's family is honoring her request to be cremated. A celebration of Gale's life will be planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vietnam Veterans of America or The Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
