Gail Rost Bilderback, age 87, formerly of Wilmington Ohio passed away Tuesday July 27, 2010 at Hospice in Dade City Florida. Gail was born Oct 31, 1922 to Corbert and Grace Bilderback in Martinsville Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Sewell Bilderback, Brother Donald, Sister Marjean Vance Shrack, and son-in-law Mike Davis. Gail is survived by his son Larry (Joanne) of Dayton Ohio, and daughter Saundra Davis of Crest Hill Illinois; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also survived by nieces and nephews Roger (Maggie), Charles (Linda), Robert (Carol) Vance, Carolyn (Bryant) Riddle, and Cathy (Richard) Coleman. Special thanks go out to his close friend, Jo Bleck of Dade city for her long friendship, and loving care in time of need. Gail was a WWII veteran, and served our country with the 94th infantry division of the Army. He received the Good Conduct medal, American Campaign medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign medal, with 4 bronze stars, and the World War II Victory med Gail was a member of: The American Legion, VFW, Eagles, and the Masons. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Hospice Foundation 12107 Majestic Blvd. Hudson, Fl. 33667 in Gail's name.
