Frederick "Fred" Thomas Dickman Sr. of Milford, OH. Born on February 6, 1946 in Hamden, OH. Passed peacefully on January 20, 2020 at the age of 73.
Beloved husband of the late Margie Mae (nee Schoonover) Dickman. Loving father of Margie (Mark) Meineke and Tom (Kristen) Dickman Jr. Caring grandfather of Stacie (James) Tucker, David Meineke, Kyle Meineke, William Dickman, Devin (Ashli) Dickman, Mason Dickman and Erin Dickman. Proud great-grandfather of Zoey and Zailey Dickman. Dear brother of the late Ruth McClaughlin. Devoted uncle of Bo McClaughlin, Reno McClaughlin and Annie Lovell. Cherished son of the late Harry and Eleanor (nee Newman) Dickman. Also survived by many relatives and dear friends.
Fred graduated from Milford High School in 1965, where he lettered in Baseball, Football and Basketball. He was an inaugural inductee in the Milford High School Athletics Hall of Fame. After graduation he proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked at the Keebler Company for 36 years. Fred was an avid sportsman and was a prominent contributer to the Milford Youth Sports, Greater Milford Athletic Association (GMAA) and the Eastern Metro League.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 2 PM to 7 PM on Saturday, February 22 at the American Legion Post 450, 111 Victor Stier Dr., Milford, OH 45150. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3 PM with Jeff Metzger from River Hills Christian Church presiding followed by Fred's grandson, William and others whom wish to share memories. After the Celebration of Life Service a gathering will continue till 7 PM.
