Frederick E. "Fred" Bauer of Loveland, OH, passed away September 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 42 years to the late Mary Carol Bauer (nee Lampert). Devoted father of Paul G. (Sharon) Bauer, Scott R. (Michelle) Bauer, and Steven M. (Rozlyn) Bauer. Cherished grandfather of Cody Bauer, Tyler (Courtney) Smith, Jacob Bauer, Anthony (Kayla) Smith, Justin Bauer, Samantha (Nolan) Membrere, Rhiannon "Anna" Bauer, Riley Bauer, Spencer Bauer, and Turner Bauer. Loving great-grandfather of Gentry Smith, Kiersten Membrere, Avery Smith, and Charley Smith. Caring brother of John R. Bauer, Helen M. (Dennis) Bells, and David J. (Janice) Bauer. Caring uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, September 13, from 10 AM to 11 AM at St. Margaret of York Catholic Church, 9499 Columbia Rd, Loveland, OH 45140, where Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM. Inurnment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's honor may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
