Fred James Pledger of Cincinnati. Beloved husband of 69 years to Ursula B. Pledger. Loving father of Juliann (Paul) Maurath and Melissa (James) Pledger-Radke. Cherished grandfather of Christopher Maurath, Adam (Laura) Maurath, and Victoria Radke. Dear great grandfather of Elizabeth Rose Maurath and Joseph Dale Maurath. Passed away February 5, 2025 at the age of 91. He was a 20 year United States Air Force Veteran. Awarded: Meritorious Service Medal, USAF Commendation Medal, USAF Good Conduct Medal, USAF Longevity Service award Ribbon, National Defense Medal, UN Korean Service Medal, United Nations Medal, and Republic of Korean Presidental UC. He was a member of the 4th degree in Knights of Columbus, past Faithful Navigator, Grand Knight, and Color Corps Commander.

Family and friends will be received from 10:45-11:45 AM on Monday, February 10 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E Kemper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon.
