Franklin Thurman Hedges, of Batavia, Ohio, passed away on August 23, 2021 at the age of 87, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He battled kidney disease and more recently a stroke, but continued to show his courage in life's challenges with grace. Despite the pain, Frank always had a smile and continued to do what he loved doing...singing and praising the Lord. Frank was born in Bethel, Ohio and grew up in Church. He loved singing and playing guitar. Frank met the love of his life Alice Muriel Hedges when they were teenagers. They had five sons and together they would play music and sing in churches throughout the years. The funeral will be on on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 129 Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140. Viewing is 10am - 11:30am. Service starts at 11:30am. Following the funeral, the committal service will be at Graceland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5989 Deerfield Rd, Milford, OH 45150. Frank will be honored in a Celebration of Life following the committal service at Hopewell Meadows Park, 9131 Hopewell Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242. Beverages (sodas, drink boxes and water) will be provided. However, food will not be served due to Covid-19.
