Frank was born on June 25, 1915 in Owenten, Kentucky to the happy union of Eddie and Cordelia Brown. He was the second of three children Alice Lena and Beatrice. Alice Lena preceded him in death. Frank joined the navy at an early age. Upon his discharge, he married his long time love Corrine Ware who preceded him in death in September 1999. Frank and Corrine raised his niece, Pauline Burnam who also preceded him in death in January 1986, Frank worked side by side with his wife as cook and housekeeper until their retirement. They then catered private functions. He was a very active member in Gaines United Methodist Church until his wife became ill and he was unable to attend. He became a dedicated husband attending to his wife until her death. He loved to go fishing when he could. He loved to cook. He departed this earth after a long sickness June 19, 2006. He is survived by one sister Beatrice Bonds of Cincinnati, Ohio. Five nieces, Grace Whipple of Florida, Frances Jackson, Margaret Ann Carter, Jean Henderson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Reta Perry of Lexington, KY. One nephew James Whitney. Many great nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends.
