Francis Eugen Cottom, Sr. of Concord, CA. entered into rest August 21, 2004 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor May Cottom, dear father of Francis Eugene (Karla Jean) Cottom Jr., caring brother of Bobby Cottom, and loving grandfather of Chama Cottom, Cheryl (Paul) McGregor, and Carissa (John) Glover, and great grandfather of Jacob, Sara, Stefan, Alaysia, Luke, and Blake. Gene served in the U.S Navy as a Seabee during Worla War II. Gene was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and AMVETS. He owned and operated Genel's Restaurant in Blanchester for over 30 years.
