Frances Irene Christen, 90, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on February 10, 2023, surrounded by family.

Born October 8, 1932, in Blanchester, Ohio, daughter of Alba and Mary Frances (nee Carr) Culberson. Frances was a member of the Blanchester Garden Club and the Blanchester Senior Citizens.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Christen and two brothers, Eddie (Edna Mae) Culberson and George Culberson.

Frances is survived by her children, David (Diane) Christen, Ricky Christen, and Rodney (Debbie) Christen; grandchildren, Jake (Jenny) Christen, Ian (Lori) Christen, Zach (Megan) Walker, Nick (Brittany) Christen, Cody Christen, Kaleb Christen, and Maggie (Patrick) Coward; great-grandchildren, Andrew Christen, Isaiah Christen, Austin Christen, MaKenzie Sharp, Kamryn Christen, Alainia Christen, Everly Christen, Owen Walker, Jackson Walker, and Zayden Coward; great-great-grandson Cain Christen; nieces and nephews, Donnie (Hilda) Culberson, Pauletta (Gary) Sears, Linda (Rick) Johnson, and Patty (Maynard) Stenerson.

The funeral service will be held at 12pm on February 15, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 10am until the time of service.

Interment will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery.
