Florence "Flo" (nee Wilkinson) Jones of Loveland. Beloved wife for over 73 years to the late Wayne G. Jones, Sr. Devoted mother of Judi (Steve) Eubanks, Wayne (Linda Hood) Jones Jr. and Michael (Rita) Jones and the late Paula Riffle. Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Grace Jones, Byron Wilkinson, Robert Wilkinson, Gerald Wilkinson, and Frederick "Pete" Wilkinson. Flo passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the age of 96. Flo was born on April 9, 1920 in Montpelier, Vermont. She attended Montpelier High School, where she met her husband Wayne. They were married on May 30, 1940. Flo worked many years at Loveland Lanes where for 20+ years she taught bowling to thousands of junior bowlers from 4th thru 12th grades. Everyone knew Flo from the bowling alley. She was an avid bowler herself and continued to bowl until the age of 90. Flo enjoyed family gatherings more than anything. She loved playing cards, working crossword puzzles and walking for exercise. Those closest to her will remember her as a living example of Shel Silverstein's 'The Giving Tree.' Flo gave all she had to her children, grandchildren and friends in need. And when she had nothing left, she still tried to find ways to give to others. She will be remembered for her generosity and the glowing smile she always had up to her final days. Family and friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, June 7 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140, where services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, June 8. Interment Graceland Memorial Gardens.
