Farrell Wendell Bowdle, age 92, passed January 31, 2025, peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side.

Wendell was born on December 24, 1932, in Clarksburg, Ohio, to the union of Elmer Ellis Bowdle and Marie (nee Hudson) Bowdle, who proceeds him in death. Also proceeding him in death is his stepmother, Lillian (nee Butler) Bowdle.

He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 68 years, Betty (nee Case) Bowdle.

Wendell was a graduate of Washington Court House High School. He was a barber in Washington C.H. prior to his enlistment in the U.S. Navy. During his Navy career, Wendall served in Korea and Vietnam. Wendell often stated that Betty, his wife, and the Navy were the best things that ever happened to him.

Wendell will be sorely missed.

Per Wendell's wishes, cremation will be done. There will be no services.
