Everett Eugene McCain of Goshen, OH. Born on December 24, 1943 in Oak Hill, OH. Passed peacefully on January 6, 2020 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Karen Ann (nee Schob) McCain. Loving father of Malissa (Jeff) Ridout and Everett (Terri) McCain Jr. Caring grandfather of Jerry Paul Miller II, Joshua Wayne McCain, Jenna Lee McCain and Meadow Ann McCain. Step-grandfather of Jeremy David Ridout and Presley Nicole Arroyo. Proud great-grandfather of Isaac McCain, Brianna McCain, Jace McCain, Isabella Miller, Aubree Wilson, Adrian Arroyo, Jaekyn Ridout and Javyn Ridout. Dear brother of the late Ronnie Rodger McCain and Juanita McCain. Devoted cousin of Sheila Miller and many other cousins. Cherished son of the late Given E. and Goldie Marie (nee Woods) McCain. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Everett enjoyed drag racing with his brother and brother-in-law at KD Drag Race Track. He loved to listen to bluegrass music, especially music that his Uncle Harold played. Visitation will be from 6 PM - 7:30 PM on Friday, January 10 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 7:30 PM.
