Everett Harold Bond of Pleasant Plain, OH., passed away on October 3, 2024 at the age of 84. Harold was born on February 18, 1940 in Clinchmore, TN.

Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Betty Lou (nee Byrd) Bond and Naomi Lee (nee Cook) Bond; loving father of Barbara Bond and Steve (Annette) Bond; caring grandpa of Christina Benedict, Rachel Benedict, Elizabeth Bond, Meredith (Mike) Lamarche and Gerrit (Rebecca) Bond; proud great-grandpa of Joe Poehler and Everleigh Bond; dear brother of Ruby Duncan, Gene Bond, Joyce Green, Ralph Bond and the late Dewey, Estle, Bob, Jerry, Harry Bond; cherished son of the late Lealon Russell and Ruth Ester (nee Ellis) Bond. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Harold was a founding member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church. Throughout his life, the church was the center of his life. He had a passion for music and was a member of the Scott County Quartet (Dewey, Willard, Ruby, Harold) spreading the word of God through bluegrass music. As his many friends will attest, Harold was always there to help.

Friends will be received from 5 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, October 10 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, October 11. Pastor Mike Callihan officiating.

The interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
