Ethridge T. Roy was born March 14, 1927 to James Wesley Roy and Marie (nee Wilson) Roy and passed away February 27, 2017 at the age of 89. He worked in drywall and loved to fish, camp, bowl and hunt. He was also a WWII Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joyce (nee Johnson) Roy; children, Roger Wesley (Donna) Roy, Victor T. (Debbie) Roy and Donna Marie (Dan) Sexton; grandchildren, Amber Fair, Clint Roy, Jason Roy, Rich Roy, Lyndsie Roy, Bridgett Roy, Luke Roy, Allen Roy and Amanda Holland; Great grandchildren, Kevin Roy, Vanessa Roy, Dylan Barnett, Carissa Roy, Andrew Roy, Kira Roy, Kayla Roy, John Holland, Lexie Holland, Chase Holland, Ellie Holland, Lilly Snider, Abigail Snider and A.J. Roy; great great grandchildren, Dillin and Teddy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katie; brothers, Lurid Roy, Grady Roy, Edward Roy, Delbert Roy and Edgar Roy; sisters, Doris Brown, Boots Sutton, Ruby Collier, Hazel Ingram and Loretta Blakely. Funeral services will be held on Thursdy March 2, 2017 at 11 AM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where friends will be received from 10 AM until time of service. Interment Plainview Cemetery Wayne Twp., OH.
