SCALES Essie May (nee Bowmer) of Blanchester, Ohio, formerly of Casey County, Kentucky. Beloved wife of 50 years to Garnet Scales, loving mother of Stan Sharp, Steve (Rebecca) Scales, Larry (Nancy) Scales, Gary (Mary Beth) Scales, Christopher (Debbie) Scales and the late Sammy Scales, caring grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, dear sister of Jewel Chaffins and the late Walter Bowmer, cherished daughter of the late Abraham Lincoln and Myrtle (nee Baldock) Bowmer. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
