Ernest "Charlie" Gerald Horlander of Goshen, OH, formerly of Northbrook, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2024 at the age of 55. Born on November 23, 1968 in Cincinnati, OH.

Beloved husband of the late Vernie Jo (nee Wightman) Horlander. Loving father of Brittany (Andy Miller) Farmer, Kassie (Matthew) Miller, Cody (Harley Wallace) Horlander, Katie (Cody Stewart) Horlander and Camren (Hannah Rose) Horlander. Proud Pop-Pop of Isaiah McQueen, Karsyn Miller, Lily Haynes and Emersyn Miller. Dear brother of Timmy Leist, Patsy Woehrmeyer, Ronna Baldwin, Kim Middleton and James Jacobs. Cherished son of the late Gerald and Patsy (nee Peters) Horlander. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, many dear friends and his K-9 sidekick, Abby.

Charlie never met a stranger. He always made people laugh, and he will be remembered for his generosity with everyone he came into contact with. He loved everyone near and far.

Friends will be received from 4 PM to 7 PM on Monday, February 12 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where, services will begin at 7 PM on Monday. Rev. Russ McQueen officiating.
