Ernest Barrett was born on November 27, 1927 to Dailey and Gracie (nee Brandenburg) Barrett and passed away December 23, 2016 at the age of 89. Ernest retired from General Motors and then farmed full time which he enjoyed. He is survived by his wife, Cedith (nee Fox) Barrett; children, Roger Dale (Kathlene) Barrett, Charlotte Sue Clark and Ernest Jr. (Brooke) Barrett; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Herschel Barrett, Dale Barrett, Kenneth Barrett and Dean Barrett; sisters, Mavis Young and Betty Fox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Kyle Clark; brothers, Robert Barrett and Paul Barrett; and a sister, Wanda Lee. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday December 29, 2016 at the Full Gospel Christian Assembly, 10055 St. Rt. 28 Blanchester, OH 45107, where friends will be received from 10 AM until time of service.
