IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Emma "Peggy"
Adams
July 19, 1932 – February 15, 2026
Emma “Peggy” Lee Adams passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, surrounded by her family. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Russell S. Adams, and son, Daniel Adams, as well as her parents, sister, and brother. She is survived by her sons, Russell D. Adams and Elliot (Beth) Adams. Her grandchildren, Alexandra (Corey) Gasperson, Emily Adams, Grace Adams, and David Adams were her pride and joy.
Born in rural Tennessee, Peggy grew up on the family farm without modern conveniences. From that humble and formative beginning she went on to a career at P&G and 25 years as the school nurse at Sycamore High School, all while raising three sons and supporting her husband as he grew his own business in Cincinnati. Peggy’s faith was central to her life, and she was an active member and volunteer at Iona Hope Church in Fort Myers, FL. She also spent time in her retirement teaching English as a second language in her community.
Peggy was a woman ahead of her time as she championed health and wellness long before the trend, returned to school to earn her RN license in her forties, and navigated an early balance between her work and home life. She will be remembered for her quiet smile, her non-judgmental nature, her meticulous care of all things, and her dedication to her family.
The family will have a private memorial service and burial.
Remembrances should be made in her memory to Hospice of Cincinnati.
