Emma Louise (nee Sturgill) Boatrite of Blanchester, OH., was reunited with her loving husband, Starling "Stute" Boatrite Sr. and her family on December 30, 2025, at the age of 87. Emma was born on July 9, 1938, in Harlan, KY to George and Mossie Sturgill.

Emma was the beloved wife of the late Starling Boatrite Sr., loving mother of Mossie Ray, Starling (Jamie) Boatrite Jr., Wanda Boatrite, Mary Jane (Vince) Boatrite, Matthew Boatrite, Frank (Kaycie) Boatrite, Lloyd (Ashley Bryant) Boatrite, (Theresa Boatrite) and the late James Boatrite Sr., mother-in-law of Michele Boatrite, caring grandmother of Rachel Ray, Joyce (Brandon) Bell, Peggy (Danny) Fette, Jessica (Tom) Young, Christal (Craig) Best, Chelsea (Brent) Taylor, Matthew (Cassandra) Boatrite, James (DaQuayla) Boatrite Jr., Beth (Gabriel) Tripoli, Lloyd (Stephanie) Boatrite Jr., Michael (Audra) Boatrite, Kaitlin (Brandon) Morgan, Hailey (David) Boatrite, Madison (Matthew) Rose, Savannah Boatrite, Kelsie (Montana) Boatrite, Emma Traylor, Malaya Boatrite, Bella Rodgers, Kason Boatrite, Kyler Boatrite and Benjamin Boatrite, numerous great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, dear sister of four brothers and three sisters, cherished daughter of the late George Earl and Mossie Lee (nee Wilson) Sturgill. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Friends will be received from 9 AM to 10 AM on Saturday, January 3 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will be at 10 AM on Saturday. Pastor Sean Kennedy officiating.

The interment will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery, Deerfield TWP, OH.
