Elsie W. Steen of Cincinnati. Daughter of the late Martin and Annie Paxman Steen. Devoted Aunt of Ron and Joanne Nelson, Dorothy Nelson, Helen Martin, and the late Diana Myers. Dear sister of Mabel Nelson, Florence McSavaney and the late Frederick Steen. Also survived by many friends and caregivers. Elsie was a longtime resident of Maple Knoll Village. Elsie passed away at Maple Knoll Village Friday October 26, 2007. She was born on September 5, 1909 in Rouleau, Saskatchewan Canada. She retired from the United States Army as a Major where she was awarded the National Defense Service Medal after 25 years of service. Friends are invited to attend a graveside Service at Spring Grove Cemetery Memorial Mausoleum Thursday November 1, 2007 at 11:00am where the S.W.
