Elsie Jo Hibbs, 84, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024, at her home.

Born on December 6, 1939, in Lexington, Kentucky, she was the daughter of John and Josephine (Huffman) Van Hook. Jo was a school bus driver for Lakota Schools (Butler Co.) for 30 years and retired. After retiring she did home care giving. She loved spending time at the Blanchester Senior Citizens visiting with friends.

Jo is survived by her two sons, Jay (Doris) Hibbs and Jim Hibbs; grandchildren, John Hibbs, Molly Hibbs, Scott Everidge; four great-grandchildren Ezra,Tucker,Levi, and Jackson; sister, Cindy Starrett; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy Hibbs, Patsy Hedrick, Bette Adamczak, and Frances Johnson; brothers, John Van Hook, Wilbert Van Hook, and Jackie Van Hook.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
