Elsie Charlene (nee Schnell) Lind of Cincinnati, OH. Born on July 13, 1933 in Pleasant Plain, OH. Passed peacefully on April 5, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Herbert E. Lind. Loving aunt to Cindy Schnell, Mark Schnell Sr., Mike Jackson and the late Pat Jackson. Dear sister of the late Donald "Don" Schnell and Elizabeth "Liz" Jackson. Cherished daughter of the late Charles Foster and Inez C. (nee Eggert) Schnell. Charlene was a member of OES Goshen Chapter #382 and Hoffner Chapter #286. She was a 20 year resident of Brookwood Retirement Community. While living there Charlene enjoyed chair volleyball, crafts, bingo and dressing for all holidays. She was the "poster child" for the welcome committee, enjoyed distributing the community publication and assisted anyone who needed keys. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 9, 11 AM - 12 Noon at Brookwood Retirement Community, 12100 Reed Hartman HWY, Cincinnati, where OES services and funeral services will follow at 12 Noon. Interment, Spring Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen & Social Center, 1730 Race St., Cincinnati, OH 45202 Chaplain Dave Petry will be the minister for the services.
