Elmer N. Beachy of Blanchester, OH was born April 26, 1933 to Noah and Elizabeth (nee Kauffman) Beachy and passed away December 20, 2016 at the age of 83. He worked for Cincinnati Milacron, area nursing homes and as sexton at the Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (nee Howell) Beachy; children, Johnnie Beachy, Elaine Sherrod, DeAnna Striggles and DeLainna (Jamie) Tackett; sisters, Emma Richards and Anna Beachy; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Milford Beachy; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Thursday December 22, 2016 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where services will be held at 2 PM on Friday.
