Elmer C. "Bud" Spradlin of Milford, OH. Born on Sept. 11, 1936 in LaFollette, TN. Went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Bertha Mae (Griffin) Spradlin. Loving father of Karen (Robert) Taylor and Kim (Jeff) Little. Proud grandfather of James Combs, Jr., Randi Phillips, Cory Taylor, Zeke Taylor, Jeffrey Little and Alicia Little. Loving great-grandfather of Seth Gilbert, Estley Phillips, Lilly Taylor, Paige Taylor, Audrey Taylor, Ellie Mae Taylor and Logan Taylor. Devoted brother-in-law of Mary Griffin (Steve) Smith, Randy Griffin, Cecil Griffin, Joe Griffin and Rocky Griffin. Dear brother of the late Jay and Don Spradlin. Cherished son of the late Ed and Eliza "Teadle" (nee Kitts) Spradlin. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Bud was the assistant postmaster in Milford, OH. He retired in 1992 after 30 years of service. Services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 12 Noon at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment, Plainview Cemetery. Pastor William "Bill" Allen will be the minister for Bud's services.
