Elizabeth Ann Patterson died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 1, 2017 while residing at the Lodge Nursing and Rehab Center in Loveland, Ohio. She was 90 years old and lived a long and happy life. Elizabeth was born in Connersville, Indiana on May 5, 1927 to parents Raymond and Ann Michael. She grew up and attended schools in Connersville, Indiana graduating from Connersville High School in 1945. While attending the University of Cincinnati, she worked for the NCR Corporation in Dayton, Ohio. It was in Dayton, Ohio where she would meet and marry her husband of 53 years Neil Patterson who was stationed at Wright-Patterson Airforce base at the time. They would relocate to La Crosse, Wisconsin for the next 40 years where Elizabeth helped raise their family while Neil was employed by the Trane Company. Upon retirement, they would relocate back to Cincinnati, Ohio to be closer to family. Elizabeth loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit many places both foreign and domestic. She also enjoyed reading , gardening, and listening to music as often as possible. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Neil Patterson who died in June of 2007, her brother Donald Michael of Connersville, Indiana, and her sister Dorothy Michael (Mendell) of Connersville, Indiana. She is survived by her two sons, David Patterson (Laurey) of Symmes Township, Ohio, Steven Patterson of Berkley, Michigan, a grandson Michael Patterson (Carrie Boles) of Aldie, Virginia, and several nieces and a nephew. Private family services have been held and internment will be in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Elizabeth's name may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, 4500 Cooper Road, Suite 304, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.
