Elizabeth Doris Ann Hodges, 71, of Fayetteville, Ohio, passed away suddenly on January 13, 2019. She was the beloved mother of Roger Buerkle II, Brandon Hodges, and Stephanie (Benjamin) Swayngim; loving grandmother of Dakota Strong, Megan Mundy, Roger Buerkle III, Angelina Buerkle, Dylan Strong, and Drake Strong; proud great-grandmother of Taylan Strong, Elizabeth Mundy, Rylee Strong, and Jackson Mundy; dear sister of Linda (Kent) Ward, Theresa (Terry) Brown, and Bobby (Teri) Doan; also survived by many friends and loved ones. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Valinchia Doan; brothers, Donald and Tillman Doan. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 12pm until the time of service. Interment will take place at Westboro Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
