Elisa Ward Klosterman of Morrow. Beloved wife of 45 years to Thomas Klosterman. Cherished mother of Rachel (Steven) Joebgen. Soon-to-be grandma of one on the way. Dear sister of Jeffrey (Jeanette) Ward. Loving aunt of Jackson and Julianne. Daughter of the late William Glenn and Marjorie Valerie Ward. Dear daughter-in-law of Frances and the late Thomas Klosterman. Passed away July 24, 2020 at the age of 65. Elisa was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 30 years ago. Although the disease slowly took away her ability to walk and care for herself, it never took away her faith, sassy-but-sweet attitude, and good sense of humor. Over the last 20 years Elisa's husband, Tom, took incredible care of his beautiful wife. Their marriage was a testament to their vows, "for better or for worse" and "in sickness and in health," and their example is cherished by their family and those who know them best. Friends will be received Wednesday, August 5 from 6-8 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 6 at 11:30 AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Please meet in front of cemetery office.
