Elinor (Ellie) Comeau (Durbin; Schnicke), age 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2017 following many years of severe dementia. Ellie was the loving mother of David Durbin and Linda (Lynn) Bell (Fields; Durbin). Beloved sister of Patricia Murphy, Janet Vennemeyer, Judy Fox, Cindy Schnicke, Joni Shelton, and sister-in-law Gloria Ritter (Morris Schnicke). Grandmother to David G. Durbin, Drew Durbin, Jennifer Bridges, Amanda Douglas, Charles Fields II, and Carl Fields. Great-grandmother to 14 and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, October 6th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Drive, Loveland, OH 45140. On Saturday, there will be a short service at the funeral home at 10:00 am, then procession to Gates of Heaven cemetery on Montgomery Road. Memorial donations can be given to Hospice of Cincinnati and to the Alzheimer's Association.
