Elias William Kerr, beloved son of Ian and Lauren Kerr, was born at Christ Hospital, Liberty, on January 5th, 2026 at 2:09 PM, weighing 9 lbs. 3 oz.. From the first moment of his life, he showed great strength and was profoundly loved.

Elias spent 7 precious days in the NICU at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, surrounded by devoted doctors, caring nurses, and loving family who never left his side and cheered him on every step of the way. During his short time here, Elias taught us about hope in the face of overwhelming adversity, and reminded us that even the smallest lives often prove to be life's largest blessings.

Though his life was brief, Elias was deeply loved and will be forever remembered for drawing our family even closer together. He knew only love, warmth, and comfort, held close by his mother and father, and was baptized a Christian.

Elias is survived by his parents, Ian and Lauren, his sister, Isla, his grandparents, and two great-grandparents. He is now held in God's arms, given new life in his eternal peace, surrounded by the warm care of our loved ones who have made the journey before us.

In his honor, we will carry Elias with us in our hearts, for every breath, for the rest of our lives.
