Elbert C. Preston, age 86, of Milford, OH. Born on April 1, 1927 in Cincinnati, OH., entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Luella (Hoeltke) Preston. Loving father of Kathleen (Mike) Quickle, Jeanine Hammonds and Paul (Shari) Preston. Proud grandfather of Michelle Kessler, Maria and Asia Quickle, Lenee Hammonds, Taylor, Parker and Madison Preston and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Zelma Thomas, Florene Quenett and Norma Thornton. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Elbert proudly served in the United States Navy in the Pacific. Services will be held on Monday, April 29, 11 AM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment, Rest Haven Memorial Park, Evendale, OH. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran School, 5849 Buckwheat Rd., Milford, OH 45150. Rev.
