Obituary

Elaine H. Weyand of Loveland. Loving wife of William G. Weyand. Beloved mother of Lauren (TJ) Jones. Cherished grandmother of Tommy Jones. Devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys Hughes. Passed away January 19, 2021 at the age of 67. Elaine was born and raised in Loveland and was a beloved teacher at Loveland Elementary School for 36 years. After her retirement in 2012, she continued to volunteer for the schools. She always went above and beyond what was required for her students and fellow teachers leaving a lasting positive impact on countless lives. In her free time she loved spending time with family and friends, going to the pool, lying on the beach, and perusing through the mall. Elaine was a bright ray of sunshine for all who were fortunate to be in her life. She was fiercely strong and remained positive through many hardships, truly a fighter until the very end.
