Edward Joseph "Joe" Nause of Goshen, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2022 at the age of 67. Born on August 8, 1954 in Mariemont, OH. Beloved husband of Connie Ann (nee Crawford) Nause. Loving father of Joe (Tanya Stahl) Nause Jr. and Scott Nause. Proud Poppy of Levi Nause, River Garner, Haley Strasinger and Hayden Pangallo. Dear brother of Charles (Lois) Nause, Barbara Nause, Margaret (Kelly) Wilson, Jerry (Sandy) Nause, Pam (Steve) Crabb, Teri (late Dale) Hildebrandt, Greg (Jodie) Nause, David (Sheila) Nause, Alison (Doug) Vastine and the late Patty Nause and Angie Farrell. Cherished son of the late Carl Joseph and Opal (nee Daye) Nause. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Joe's life would seem too short to many, but to those who have been blessed with the opportunity to know him, understand that his existance and the imprint he left on our lives far exceed the quantity of time he lived on earth. Joe lived his entire life in and around Newtonsville, OH. He was the 7th of 12 siblings. Joe married Connie in 1974 and they were married 47 years, 9 months and 10 days. Joe had already been planning his 50th wedding anniversary party. During those years, Joe was blessed with two sons, Joe Jr. and Scott. There were many precious memories made at home and working in the garage together. He was a self-employed truck driver for 30 plus years, the last 20 years with Barrett Paving. He was a proud member of the Clermont County Antique Machinery Club. He loved collecting tractors and crawlers. Joe loved his friends and family. He could talk for hours on end, given the opportunity. Friends will be received from 5 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, June 16 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen. Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 17 at First Baptist Church of Newtown, 6944 Main St., Newtown, OH. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Joe Nause to The Kinley Sexton Foundation, 2062 St. Rt. 131, Batavia, OH 45103-9699. Pastor Roger Hauck will be the minister for Joe's services.
