Devoted grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Caring brother of Everett Sears of Arab, AL, Edna Smith of Versailles, KY, Bessie Morgan of Corbin, KY, Nell Powers of Latonia, KY, Bert Smith of Lawrenceburg, KY. Dear uncle of numerous nieces and nephews, also survived by a host of additional family and friends. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister. He was also preceded in death by his parents Leslie E. and Cora Elizabeth (nee Alsip) Sears. He was a member of the Springvale Baptist Church.
