Edward "Eddie" Fairbanks Sr. was born September 16, 1938 to Joseph and Bertha (nee Lee) Fairbanks and passed away March 28, 2019 at the age of 80. Eddie was a US Army Veteran and worked construction as a brick mason. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Laura (nee Lynch) Fairbanks; a daughter, Sherri Kruger; a son, Ed Fairbanks Jr.; grandchildren, Ashley Fairbanks and Lauren Magnus; great granddaughter, Isabella Shiner; brothers, Ronald Fairbanks, Joseph (Clara) Fairbanks; sisters Darlene (William) Barber and Janet Faul. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Donna Fairbanks and a brother-in-law, Gene Faul. Services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday April 2 2019 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28 Goshen, OH 45122, where friends will be received from 10 AM until time of service.
